A law was passed in 2009 requiring donors giving more than £7,500 to political parties to declare they are domiciled in the UK for tax purposes. Three years later, this still hasn’t been enforced, and major parties are still accepting large sums of money from non-dom donors.
We want to see existing law enforced, and parties handing back the money they shouldn’t have taken in the first place.
Please take a minute today to write to your MP asking them to put pressure on Nick Clegg - the minister with the power to change this - to prioritise ending this scandalous state of affairs.
