Setting up a group?
Unlock Democracy is committed to developing a network of active individuals and groups to campaign for our aims. If you're interested in setting up a group, we'd like to talk to you.
There are two broad types of groups we support:
- Local Groups: these are democratic reform groups of people who focus on a particular geographical area such as a city, county, town or district. They may be formally affiliated to Unlock Democracy or independent.
- Special Groups: these are autonomous networks of Unlock Democracy members with a particular policy focus. Examples of Special Groups could include a group with a particular interest in advocacy for under-represented groups (such as women or disabled people) or on a specific policy outcome.
