Why I am standing for Unlock Democracy's Council:
Of the many years of witnessing political change, and no change at all, through the uk and global events, i have decided to end my isolation from the corrupt and stalemate of politics, and put my experiences of the political(and union)machine to good use. If, i am fortunate enough that membership of Unlock democracy (ULD) decide to elect me for the council, i will endeavour to put all my skills, organising abilities, tenacity and worldly knowledge-and travelled and seen a lot of the world away from touristy areas-to the benefit of ULD, membership and most important, for more Government openness. Coming from both Coop group and trade unionism, i have learned from the school of hard knocks, negotiation, compromise, and reality that you do not get all you want, but cementing the best deal possible for all, and working with different groups with same agenda. With any kind of reform/openness, there may be some ‘horse trading’ to get what we want, i know i am willing and able to take part in that process. I thank you in advance for your support and look forward to working with ULD. Here’s to change and transparency.
Why I am standing for Rodell Board of Directors:
I feel, that with my relevant experiences within the trade union movement and CooP Group management, i can put those organising skills and leadership qualities to good use. Also being qualified in Human resource management, I have the qualities needed to perform the task asked as a Director (Rodell). I do know my way around the world of politics, walking that tight-rope, that will achieve results for the Unlock Democracy campaign. If/when elected, you will find me unwanting and fixed with the aim of success. My firm believe, is that transparity must cut across UNLOCK DEMOCRACY, also, not just with Government. I make this covenant with you, i will be transparent at all time, offend or please. Should I fall or falter in this promise, feel free to inform myself of my shortfalls, I will listen and take on board those findings. I look forward to working with all at unlock Democracy.
Thank you for your support
