Organised by Activists For Activists
Ever wondered how to push your local group more active? Or have you just started getting involved in campaigning and want to campaign for a better, fairer democracy.
Join us on Saturday 9th February 2013 in Birmingham for a jam-packed day of all things activism!
Learn how to put your local group on the map at this exciting conference created by activists for activists. This event is a fantastic opportunity for campaigners of all levels of experience to network, share ideas, tips, and anecdotes about the positives and pitfalls of running a successful campaign.
The day will include interactive workshops and exciting guest speakers on the following topics:
- Planning, campaigns and strategy;
- Q&A sessions with experienced campaigners;
- Online activism and generating media buzz;
- The power of research and Parliamentary lobbying
- Going from single issue campaigning to multiple issue campaigns
- And much more...
We hope you will come away inspired and motivated to make your campaign a success! This the first time we have put on a conference organised by our activists, not just for them. So get involved and dont miss out! Make 9th February 2013 a fixture in your diary!
Early Bird tickets available until 31st December 2012.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Events like these are really valuable for all our members and staff, but they cost money to set up. Those of you that are already generous enough to give money in donations expect your gifts to be spent on campaigns and campaign material to help us achieve our shared aims. That's why wed really appreciate a small donation of £5 to cover our running costs, so that we can continue to spend our regular donations on the active campaigning that is so desperately needed.
